It is with great sorrow and sadness that we announce the death of our beloved brother Waweru Mburu of Royal Media Services and Head of Radio Citizen, Kenya.
He was popularly known for his famous program, “Yaliyotendeka.” The veteran broadcaster succumbed to cancer on 9/28/2016 at MP Shah hospital, Nairobi.
He was son of Mburu Waweru and the late Beth Wanjiku Mburu of Makuyu. Waweru was beloved husband to Bridget Wathira Waweru, father to Anthony Mburu of KIMC, Nairobi, John Nganga and Faith Wanjiku.
He was beloved Brother to John Mburu of Plano Texas, brother-in-law to Esther Mburu, uncle to Alex and Rita.
Family and friends are meeting daily at John Mburu’s residence at 7205 Northern Lights Ct, Plano Texas 75074 at 6:00pm.
Main memorial service will be held at the same address on Saturday 10/01/2016 starting at 4:00pm.
