It was with heavy hearts and great sorrow that we inform you of the unexpected passing of Jamal Lorenzo Nganga of Silver Spring, MD.
Jamal was only 20 years old and a student at the University of Tampa (FL).
He was a studious Sophomore aiming for a Bachelors in Business Administration when he left us. He was also a stand-out, senior basketball player at his former high school – Blake High School.

A Kenyan woman,Sheila Jeptanui Chuchuney of Phoenix has died after she was struck in a hit-and-run crash. Sheila was rushed to the hospital but died few minutes later.
She is the daughter of Everlyn Lelei of Phoenix, Arizona.

Appeal to offset hospital bill for the Late Willys Kamanu Kihato
He was working for One Way Cleaning Services Ltd as an Assistant Procurement Officer prior to his untimely death.
On October 10th 2017 Kamanu started complaining of a headache and he was rushed to Kenol hospital.
Kamanu’s father, a farmer and primary school teacher, gave out his land title deed to serve as collateral. The funeral took place on Saturday, January 13th 2018.
The family exhausted all its resources to make sure Willys had the best medical treatment.
The family is calling upon well-wishers to kindly assist with offsetting the hospital bill.

We are saddened to announce the unexpected, shocking and sudden death of Christine ‘Shiru’ Gichaga who passed away on January 29th, 2018 after a brief bout of flu.
Christine was a member of Neema Gospel Church in Dallas, TX. She was a loving wife to James Gichaga and mother to Keysha Gichaga.
She was the daughter to Col. Francis Ndegwa and Mary Ndegwa and a sister to Stephen Ndegwa and Gladys Wamuyu, and sister in law to Ann Warimwe.
She leaves behind a rich legacy of her passion for kids and investment of time and resources to those who knew her. She was a generous person full of energy in everything she did.
Our consolation at this moment is knowing that Christine loved and gave all for others particularly the little children.
We are reaching out to all her friends, DFW community area, Kenyans in Diaspora and well-wishers to stand with James & Keysha Gichaga as they plan to travel to Nakuru- Kenya to give their last respect and send off next week.
